
Aoife has been working in the Arts for over ten years both as a professional actor and Drama teacher.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama Performance from TU Dublin, complemented by advanced training in screen acting at Bow Street Academy, and a Higher Diploma in Drama Education from Griffith College.
As a performer Aoife regularly works professionally in theatre and film, making appearances on Irish and international stages including London, Paris, Edinburgh and Beijing. She has also appeared as an actor in productions by RTÉ, Amazon, Netflix, Virgin media, Sky TV and The Hallmark Channel.
Aoife’s extensive experience as a performer enhances her work as an educator, bringing energy and depth to her teaching. Passionate about introducing Drama to young learners, Aoife has taught children of all ages in schools across Dublin and Wexford, where she works towards the learning outcomes of the primary school Drama curriculum whilst also teaching theatre skills such as improvisation, role play, mime and storytelling.
Aoife’s work includes directing children’s productions such as Shrek Jr., Matilda, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, making the rehearsal process an engaging and memorable experience for her students. She has worked with teen performers in Youth Theatres in Dublin and Wexford, both on devised work and scripted public
performances.
Aoife regularly works with the Abbey Theatre as a Drama Facilitator, leading workshops that encourage creativity and collaboration among young participants. She also works with InterEducation, an Erasmus programme, where she teaches English through Drama to Secondary School EU students, and provides teacher training, for EU Educators.
Aoife’s mission is to inspire her students with a love for drama, equipping them with confidence, imagination, and joy in self-expression.
